We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
CommentsHilarious! This Black&Decker Dustbuster tag is slightly disturbing. Any chance you can remove it?
Hey Matt! What did you mean by disturbing? Does it take away from the image or maybe the shape of the logo isn't favourable? Or ...
Here was my intention. I wanted the logo here because it helps point out the "commercialization" of Valentine's Day. And what better way to do that than to make this look like an ad! It makes sense. Although, Black&Decker isn't directly associated with Valentine's Day, nor do people give out dusters as Valentines (or so we can hope). The link with the commercialization of it seems slightly lose, or at least a little vague.
The concept itself is interesting. Love sucks, and the red heart gets sucked away by the blue duster. Removing the tag would enhance the raw simplicity of the concept, which could add to it. But then again, it's only me I love the color contrasts here. As for the label, I don't know... I think it should stay on just so it's easier for people to know what that thing is.

And since I'm not one to go around confusing people; the label stays!
True one wouldn't think of Black&Decker and Valentine's Day to go hand in hand but I'm sure there have been stranger associations. Perhaps you are right though that the link is a little weak. Thanks for you feedback, really appreciate it.
Most welcome, really
